Holland America Line and the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) want your help to name a rescued orphaned moose calf. You can find a post designated to submitting name suggestions on Holland America Line’s official Facebook and Instagram pages, but today is the last day. The cruise line and AWCC will select the top ten to be voted on before choosing the moose calf’s name in early July.

PortMiami is shore power ready! Through partnerships of Miami-Dade County, several cruise lines and Florida Power & Light Company, PortMiami is the first major U.S. Eastern seaboard cruise port to offer shore power at five of its cruise berths. This shore power gives cruise ships the ability to turn off their engines and reduce emissions up to 98%.

Oceania Cruises is introducing Relaxed Yet Refined dining across its fleet. They are offering new sushi and Indian cuisines at Terrace Café as well as a new lunch menu at Waves Grill. The cruise line which is known as the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line is reviewing its menus across the fleet and guests can expect more changes before the end of the year. 

Disney Cruise Line has announced its fall 2025 to spring 2026 itineraries. The cruise line will sail from the Pacific Coast and Gulf of Mexico as well as Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific from late 2025 to early 2026. The cruise line will also offer its Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises themed sailings in 2025. Bookings open on Friday, June 28, 2024.

Holland America Line has a sweet partnership with Lindt & Sprüngli, the makers of Lindor truffles and the leading premium chocolate brand in the United States. Beginning this summer, guests will enjoy the “Sweet Dreams” turndown service on Gala Night, a signature tulip-shaped Lindt chocolate mousse cake, a Lindt Sundae and more.

Princess Cruises is going to double your cruise credits from August 1 to December 1, 2024. Members who purchase the inclusive Princess Plus and Premier packages can take advantage of the Captain’s Circle Loyalty Accelerator which will double their cruise credits and fast track guests closer to their next loyalty tier.
