Princess Cruises has partnered with Pitbull, Jason Aldean and Romero Britto to launch its new “Love Line Premium Liquors” collection. The collection, which debuted on Sun Princess, includes Voli 305 Vodka by Pitbull, Love Prosecco by Britto and Melorosa Sauvignon Blanc, Red Blend and Cabernet Sauvignon from Jason Aldean. “Love Line Premium Liquors” will be rolled out across the entire Princess fleet for the summer season.

TUI Cruises took delivery of Mein Schiff 7 this past Monday, June 10, 2024. Mein Schiff 7 is the first ship of the TUI Cruises fleet operating exclusively on methanol making her propulsion almost carbon-neutral. She will homeport in Kiel, Germany and sail 8- to 17-night cruises throughout Northern Europe for her inaugural season.

Following the debut of Queen Anne, Cunard Line announced it booked more guests in May 2024 than any other equivalent period in its history. Cunard President Katie McAlister attributed the strong booking momentum to the successful launch of Queen Anne and said it was a testament to the dedication of the entire team. Queen Anne joined Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth bringing the cruise line’s fleet number to four.

The Port of Seattle will become the first US port to require all cruise ships to have shore power capabilities and utilize shore power. The mandate goes into effect in 2027–three years before the port’s initial goal of 2030. 

MSC Cruises’ latest World Class ship, MSC World America, promises enhanced family activities and spaces. She will enter service with seven distinct districts, the company’s largest and most technologically advanced kids area, and new programming and facilities created in partnership with the LEGO Group. LEGO enthusiasts will enjoy the LEGO Family Zone, the LEGO Parade and the LEGO Family Game Show.

Royal Caribbean International took delivery of Utopia of the Seas five weeks before her July 19, 2024 debut from Port Canaveral, Florida. She is the first Oasis Class ship to debut with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday short getaways that will all feature a visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay.
