Celebrity Cruises announced it is making some changes to its 2024 summer programming. The cruise line has changed itineraries for both Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Beyond to include more year-round Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean sailings, shorter weekend trips, and, for the first time, visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean International’s private island in the Bahamas and has always been exclusively visited by Royal Caribbean’s guests. However, the 2024 itineraries released by Royal Caribbean’s sister cruise line, Celebrity Cruises, now include Perfect Day at CocoCay ports onboard Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Beyond.
“Our customers are consistently asking for more opportunities to visit this stunning region year-round, have more weekend options so they can getaway easier, and have expressed a desire for a private island destination. By introducing this new program, we can meet this demand and offer something new and historic to all our guests,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “Perfect Day is a destination like no other, and we are honored to add it to our portfolio.”
To accommodate these itineraries, Celebrity Cruises canceled an entire season of European sailings onboard Celebrity Beyond between April 22, 2024, and November 1, 2024—19 sailings in all. Guests can choose to rebook on a different European sailing or a refund. Those who choose to rebook will receive a $100 onboard credit per stateroom.
Celebrity Beyond will relocate in 2024 and homeport from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She will offer 6- and 8-night cruises to places like Grand Cayman, The Bahamas, Mexico, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, along with Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Celebrity Reflection will begin sailing 3- and 4-night weekend itineraries. Nearly 40 itineraries will sail to Perfect Day at CocoCay. From Friday to Monday, she will offer 4-night sailings to Key West and Perfect Day, and 3-night sailings to Bimini and Perfect Day.
Currently, both ships are sailing a Mediterranean summer program.
