Celebrity Cruises has revealed four new venues guests will find aboard its fifth Edge-class ship, Celebrity Xcel, when she debuts in November 2025. The new onboard experiences include a poolside paradise, a new arcade lounge, and a new spa area. The ships will also feature the cruise line’s first-ever Celebrity Flagship store.
“Celebrity Xcel will set sail with seven new elevated experiences that invite guests to escape their daily routine and make memories that will last a lifetime,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “With so much innovation at every turn, the journey will be just as fun as the destinations themselves.”
The Celebrity Pool Club will offer poolside chilled towels delivered by a pool valet, comfy sunbeds, sunscreen and storage for belongings. Guests can choose the VIP package for a private cabana and dedicated service. On the last sea day of each Caribbean voyage, the venue will transform into the “Poolest Day Ever” complete with Caribbean inspired live music and drinks, pop-up shows and pool games. As day turns into night, guests can enjoy the Shine the Night poolside party.
Celebrity Xcel will introduce a new game room called Attic at The Club. The venue is open 24/7 and offers retro games like Pac-Man, NBA Showtime, Golden Tee and more. Other activities include pool, darts, foosball and shuffleboard. The adults-oriented lounge is also available for private group events.
Guests looking for more ways to unwind will find it at The Spa aboard Celebrity Xcel. Featuring the cruise line’s first-ever Hydra Room, spa guests can revitalize both mind and body in the water-focused experience. Thermal Suite guests can step into the sunshine on the Vitamin D Deck which offers ocean views and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.
Finally, Celebrity Xcel will feature the cruise line’s first-ever Celebrity Flagship store. The retail space will not only offer shopping, but will feature interactive screens that shoppers can engage with through trivia questions and insider facts. Guests can also purchase a wide-range of souvenirs that can be personalized or one-of-a-kind products available only on Celebrity Xcel.
Earlier this year, the cruise line announced other new venues Celebrity Xcel will offer including The Bazaar and an open-kitchen restaurant, Mosaic.
Celebrity Xcel will sail a 4-night preview voyage from Port Everglades on November 9, 2025. She will sail her 5-night maiden voyage on November 18, 2025 from Port Everglades to Bimini, Bahamas, and Cozumel. Celebrity Xcel will then offer 7-night Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries until May 2026 when she repositions to Europe.
