Celebrity Cruises Announces New Caribbean Itineraries

Celebrity Cruises has announced new Caribbean itineraries for the Winter 2024-25 season onboard Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Equinox, and Celebrity Summit

“We are so excited to unveil this new program. It provides our guests with more options to experience the natural beauty of the Caribbean, which is elevated by our personalized experiences on board,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “As part of this expansion, we are thrilled to add Port Canaveral to our list of home ports – it is a perfect market to reach a wide mix of both in- and out-of-state travelers looking for fun in the Caribbean sun.”

Part of the new programming includes the expansion of sailings aboard Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Summit from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Beginning October 23, 2024 through March 8, 2025, guests can choose from 6- to 7-night sailings aboard Celebrity Apex to ports of call such as St. Maarten, San Juan, Grand Cayman and Mexico. Select sailings will also visit the private island of Perfect Day at Coco Cay in The Bahamas.

Also from Port Everglades, Celebrity Summit will offer new itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Those itineraries will range from 5- to 9-nights and sail between February 25, 2025 and April 10, 2025.

For the first time, Celebrity Cruises will homeport in Port Canaveral when Celebrity Equinox offers 20 new itineraries between November 21, 2024 and April 19, 2025. Most of the itineraries will be week long sailings and visit Caribbean destinations in The Bahamas, Belize, Grand Cayman, Mexico, San Juan and St. Maarten. Two sailings in March 2025–spring break season— will also visit Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Port Canaveral CEO, Captain John Murray is very excited to welcome Celebrity Cruises to the port and said, “The demand for Celebrity Cruise sailings from our Port has been growing. Now, with Celebrity Equinox homeported here, there are great opportunities for even more cruise travelers to experience the cruise line’s high-quality experience, while experiencing the comfort and ease of travel provided by our Port.”

Lastly, the cruise line is revamping its current programming out of Port Tampa Bay aboard Celebrity Constellation. The itineraries will include 6- to 7-nights and include ports of call in Belize, Honduras, Key West, and Mexico. The cruise line will even offer an itinerary to New Orleans during Mardi Gras—March 1, 2025.

With all the new offerings, Celebrity Cruises’ guests can enjoy more than 40 new itineraries that all opened for booking Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
