Carnival Jubilee Offering New and Reimagined Experiences

Carnival Cruise Line has announced its new flagship, Carnival Jubilee, will “usher in a roster of new and reimagined experiences” for families which includes new programming for the cruise line’s Suess at Sea experience. The new experiences will celebrate cultures around the world and journey into outer space.

“Kids and multigenerational families sailing on Carnival Jubilee are set to enjoy a new level of fun with all new experiences tailored to every age group. We’re welcoming new characters, creating new spaces, and telling new stories so everyone in the family can make the most of their cruise vacation,” said Melissa Mahaffey, Carnival’s director of youth and family experience.

Carnival Cruise Line is partnering with Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to introduce a new high-tech space wall inside Camp Ocean. The space-themed area will promote STEM learning through hands-on learning experiences.

In the Currents zone, young cruisers will find LED technology that creates “portholes” to a virtual aquarium. Kids and families can design their own sea creature and watch it come to life on the screens surrounding the space.

The already popular See The World programming for teens is being expanded on Carnival Jubilee. The cruise line has partnered with its own onboard team members from the Philippines to bring an authentic Panagbenga Festival to life. Teens in Club O2 and Circle “C” will enjoy new and culturally rich experiences like a flower parade and cultural jewelry-making.

Younger cruisers will enjoy the new Night Owls Camp Out programming. Night Owls Camp Out will feature outdoor camp-themed activities such as cornhole, horseshoes, fort building, obstacle courses, campfire songs, crafts, dance parties, and more.

Beginning January 6, 2024, the family fun filled Dr. Seuss Breakfast will be a birthday party led by Thing 1 and Thing 2. The breakfast will showcase individuality and uniqueness in a true Seussian style. Cruisers will find new menu items, activities, music and more. In February, the Seuss-a-palooza Parade is welcoming a new character, Fox in Socks. The parade will be inside the ship’s two-deck Currents zone where scenes will come to life on its LED screens drawing guests into an immersive underwater Seussian world.

Other enhancements are on their way to the Ultimate Playground and Camp Ocean as well. Planet Play at Sea, a space-themed toddler playground, will be added to the Ultimate Playground. Additionally, enhanced facial recognition technology will be added to keep the youngest cruisers safe.

Mahaffey stated, “We are thrilled to introduce a new level of excitement and imagination aboard the Carnival Jubilee. Our aim is to craft a journey that resonates with every age group, integrating new characters, exclusive spaces, and captivating stories.”

The new programming found onboard Carnival Jubilee  is complementary to experiences already found onboard Carnival ships. Favorites like Build-A-Bear Workshop, BOLT: the Ultimate SeaCoaster, miniature golf, a sports court, the WaterWorks aquapark and more are not going anywhere.
