Adora Cruises in collaboration with Selection International Entertainment has created an original stage show entitled “Marco Polo: An Enchanted Love Tale.” The show is set to debut aboard Adora Cruises’ first ever Chinese built cruise ship which sets sail later this year.
The show will feature performances made for audiences of all ages allowing them to experience the culture of the historic Silk Road. The production will take place inside the ship’s Metropol theater which seats around 1,000 guests.
“Marco Polo: An Enchanted Love Tale” is based on the journey of Marco Polo, a Venetian explorer who traveled along the Silk Road to China. Along the way Marco Polo encounters a muse who encourages him along his journey, which ends in a love story. The production is being called one-of-a-kind and is designed with Chinese audiences in mind.
Sailing her maiden voyage at the end of this year, this ship will be just the start for Adora Cruises. The company is currently in the beginning stages of a second ship to add to the fleet. It will be a larger Vista class ship to set sail sometime next year.
Adora’s inaugural ship is sure to impress with its world’s largest retail shopping center at sea. Her initial cruises will be “A Voyage in Love” and will feature authentic Chinese and international cuisine, and production shows for guests to experience .
