“Work From Helm” Aboard Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady

Virgin Voyages has introduced the “Scarlet Summer Season Pass” which offers Sailors the option to swap their home office for the Scarlet Lady on the Mediterranean Sea–a chance to “Work from Helm.”

Richard Branson, Virgin Group Founder, said, “I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to do my work from anywhere. When I started Virgin, I was actually working out of a houseboat. I’ve never thought of work and play as two different things, it’s all just living. We want to give Sailors that same opportunity, so we came up with this idea to have them travel the world while working aboard our beautiful ships. Though this sounds like a lot more fun than my houseboat!”

The Scarlet Summer Season Pass offers guests the chance to spend a month working onboard Scarlet Lady while sailing the Mediterranean Sea and visiting the coastal towns of southern Europe. The Season Pass is four back-to-back voyages in a Central Sea Terrace cabin starting at $9,990 for two Sailors–a savings of up to 30%. The Central Sea Terrace includes a private balcony where you’ll find Virgin Voyages’ signature red hammock.

Virgin Voyages ships come equipped with SES Cruise mPOWERED + Starlink PRO superfast WiFi making sure you stay connected while sitting poolside. Other perks include a dedicated concierge, laundry services, early access booking for dining and excursions, exclusive access to Richard’s Rooftop, daily coffee credits at The Grounds Club, and a champagne welcome. After the work day is over, Sailors can wind down with a fitness or yoga class, enjoy award-winning entertainment, or dine in over 20 eateries whose menus have been curated by Michelin Star chefs.

“No longer does working from home mean being tied to a desk or home office and eating leftovers for lunch,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages. “With our latest WiFi upgrades, Virgin Voyages can now offer our Sailors the chance to see the world while working from a daybed at The Dock and sampling Mediterranean mezzes, then hopping off the ship in between calls to make the most of our incredible ports of call.”

Sailors who wish to take advantage of this offer will need to request the back-to-back voyages when purchasing.
