Podcast lovers! This one is for you!
Adults-only cruise line Virgin Voyages has announced its October 2, 2026 The Big Apple to Bermuda voyage has been upgraded to a podcast-focused sailing–Stuff at Sea. The cruise line has partnered with iHeartMedia to launch On Air at Sea, a specialty sailing collection that will feature live recordings, behind-the-scenes sessions, meet-and-greets with some of iHeart’s best known hosts.
“On Air at Sea is a new format for fan culture. The fan community becomes the crew, and the ocean becomes the venue. On Air at Sea gives the most engaged audiences in audio something no algorithm can deliver: presence,” says Stephen Hopkins, Senior Vice President of Growth, Virgin Voyages.
The first “On Air at Sea” voyage is a 4-night voyage from New York to Bermuda aboard Valiant Lady. The voyage will feature the popular Stuff podcast universe and the hit podcasts Stuff You Should Know, Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know and Stuff Mom Never Told You.
“The Stuff universe has built one of the most engaged listener communities in podcasting. Partnering with Virgin Voyages lets us take that community somewhere entirely new — turning these popular podcasts into a shared, lived experience that fans simply cannot get anywhere else,” says Debbie Cerrito, Senior Vice President of Business Development, iHeartMedia.
The On Air at Sea themed sailings follow Virgin Voyages first-ever True Crime Voyage, which sold out, from October 2025. Virgin Voyages expects this launch of On Air at Sea to expand into more genres such as comedy, music, wellness, true crime and more. Additionally, with access to iHeartMedia’s large network, Virgin Voyages will be able to promote these sailings to a much larger audience.
Valiant Lady’s The Big Apple to Bermuda round trip voyage will depart from New York on October 2, 2026, and includes an extended stay in Kings Wharf, Bermuda, before returning to the Big Apple on October 7, 2026.
