Virgin Voyages is embarking on its second annual “Virgin Celebration Voyage.” The annual event is honoring Virgin Group’s more than 50 year history. The cruise line is offering three distinct voyages–one of each of its Lady Ships.
The voyages will feature an incredible lineup of guests including Virgin Founder Sir Richard Branson, and singer, songwriter, and musician Boy George from Culture Club. Sir Richard will also welcome Virgin executives as well as a cohort of astronauts from Virgin Galactic. The voyages will immerse Sailors into the brand’s rock-n-roll history and future. Each Virgin Celebration Voyage will allow Sailors to take part in immersive experiences, Hosted Shore Things, fitness classes, interactive workshops, fireside chats and daily happy hours.

They’ll be rubbing elbows with visionary leaders from across the Virgin family and this year’s very special guests.”
The Virgin Celebration Voyages are available across all three ships, Valiant Lady, Scarlet Lady and Resilient Lady. Each sailing includes a Sail Away party with Nirmal, Virgin Voyages CEO, Sir Richard Branson in intimate onboard settings, and an epic dance party with Boy George.
Valiant Lady will sail a 5-night roundtrip Dominican Daze voyage from Miami on August 30, 2024, with ports of call in Puerto Plata and Virgin’s private destination, Beach Club at Bimini. Guest speakers include Michelle Betubo, Virgin Voyages’ chief operating officer; Nathan Rosenberg, Virgin Voyages’ chief brand officer; Virgin Atlantic’s David Tait; and Virgin Galactic astronauts Jamila Gilbert and Ron Rosano.
Scarlet Lady will set sail on September 1, 2024, on a 7-night roundtrip French Daze & Ibiza Nights voyage from Barcelona with ports of call in Marseille, Cannes, Palma de Mallorca, and an overnight stay in Ibiza. Guest speakers on this Mediterranean voyage include Rosenburg; Frank Weber, Senior Vice President, Fleet Operations; Virgin Galactic Vice President of Government Affairs and astronaut Sirisha Bandla; and Will Whitehourn of Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Management and Virgin Galactic.
Resilient Lady will set sail on her 5-night roundtrip voyage on September 3, 2024 from Portsmouth with her first port of call an overnight in Amsterdam before calling on Zeebrugge (Bruges). Guest speakers on the UK voyage include Rosenburg; Virgin Galactic astronauts Colin Bennett and Mike Masucci; and former Virgin Atlantic CEO and Virgin Challenger leader Steve Ridgeway.
