Virgin Voyages Announces First-Ever True Crime Voyage

Virgin Voyages has announced the cruise line’s first-ever True Crime Cruise in partnership with iHeartMedia. The voyage will take place during the 2025 “Spooky Season” on one of its Dominican Daze sailings. The sailing will be a 5-night, adults-only Caribbean voyage aboard Valiant Lady. She will embark from Miami, Florida on October 10, 2025, and call on Puerto Plata and The Beach Club at Bimini.

The onboard experience includes the opportunity for Sailors to attend meet and greets with their favorite hosts from true crime podcasts like “Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know,” “Betrayal,” and “Buried Bones.” Sailors will have the chance to watch live podcasts recordings and take part in podcasting workshops.

“We’re beyond excited to bring our investigations to the high seas as there’s something deliciously twisted about discussing cold cases while sipping cocktails under the Caribbean sun,” said Kate Winkler Dawson, “Buried Bones” co-host. “Our fans are going to experience true crime storytelling like never before, and honestly, what better setting for mystery than the middle of the ocean?”

Sailors can enjoy signature cocktails and cuisine that are inspired by well-known cases. Events include a costume contest, while the festival stage will showcase Spooky Season comedy, music, magic and dance performances along with the cruise line’s Happening Cast Halloween Show.

The “True Crime Voyage” is currently open for booking. The themed sailing, like all Virgin Voyages sailings, include the cruise line’s always included luxury–dining, gratuities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, entertainment, WiFi, and more.
