Sun Princess, Princess Cruises’ largest ship to date, is making her United States debut in October 2024. She will sail seven- and 14-day itineraries from Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The ship is the first in the cruise line’s Sphere class and will arrive in Port Everglades after a season of European and Mediterranean cruises that begins in February 2024.
Sun Princess promises “the perfect balance between incredible Caribbean islands, and tranquil days at sea for guests to enjoy all that Sun Princess has to offer.” Some of those onboard offerings include shows in state-of-the-art venues, spacious places to relax with stunning views and the cruise line’s largest casino.
Sun Princess Caribbean season goes on sale April 19, 2023 and includes:
- 5-day Caribbean Getaway to Amber Cove and Grand Turk.
- 7-day Eastern Caribbean to St. Thomas, a late night in San Juan, and Princess Cays, the cruise line’s private island.
- 7-day Eastern Caribbean to Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and Princess Cays.
- 7-day Western Caribbean with stops in Cozumel, Belize City and Roatan.

Sun Princess is still under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Once completed she will be able to carry 4,300 passengers and offer dining, entertainment and activities as only Princess Cruises can. Guests also will be treated to luxurious staterooms and suites in various categories.
Sun Princess will have more balconies than any other Princess ship promising amazing views right from your cabin. The Dome and the three-story Horizons Dining Room are sure to be some of the highlights of every guests adventure.
Sun Princess will also feature the exclusive Princess Medallion promising an “exceptional personalized experience” of a small ship while enjoying all the amenities this large ship has to offer.
