When the 4,300-passenger Star Princess debuts on October 4, 2025, she will introduce a new entertainment lineup to include two original theatrical performances and a candlelight concert series.
“We’re not just putting on shows; we’re crafting moments that will stay with guests long after the final curtain,” said Lorna Warren, Princess Cruises Vice President Hotel Operations and Guest Experience. “Star Princess was designed to surprise, move, and inspire each and every night.”
The two new mainstage performances–Meridian and Illuminate: A Spectacle of Joy–will take center stage in The Princess Arena. Meridian is a love story that is set aboard Celestial, a luxury ship, while Illuminate is an immersive experience set in a circus environment. The productions were created in partnership with the team at Black Skull Creative.
Viva La Música is returning to Star Princess after premiering on her sister ship, Sun Princess. The Latin dance show was choreographed by Liz Imperio, known for her work with Jennifer Lopez and Gloria Estefan.
During the Princess Cruises Candlelight Concert Series, the glass-enclosed Dome will transform into a “glowing haven of music and light.” Guests will experience live musicians combining classical music with cinematic storytelling by candlelight providing an unforgettable journey through sight, sound and atmosphere.
The Piazza is the stage for Princess Jamz, a 45-minute musical performance by the 15-member Princess World Orchestra led by the Cruise Director. The live performance will fill the heart of the ship inviting guests to relax and enjoy.
Also in the Piazza is the all-new Celestial Champagne Soirée. The unforgettable event combines light, sounds and storytelling which will all lead up to the cruise line’s traditional Champagne Waterfall.
Star Princess will debut across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Panama Canal and Alaska. Her inaugural voyage will be an 11-night Mediterranean sailing from Barcelona, Spain. On October 22, 2025, she will then sail a transatlantic voyage to Port Everglades for her winter season in the Caribbean.
