Royal Caribbean International has opened bookings aboard its Quantum Ultra Class Spectrum of the Seas for cruisers who are excited to sail and explore the Far East. She will begin sailing 4- and 7-night voyages in April 2024 when she departs Shanghai and sails to popular destinations in Japan.
“Chinese vacationers have been eagerly awaiting to wander and make memories throughout Asia again, and we are delighted to make that possible as the first international cruise line to open for bookings and cruise in China. And what better way to mark Royal Caribbean’s homecoming than with the return of Spectrum of the Seas, a ship that was specifically designed for Asia,” said Dr. Zinan Liu, senior vice president and chairman, Asia, Royal Caribbean Group. “Today, we can proudly proclaim, ‘We are back in China!’’
Spectrum of the Seas was specifically designed for travelers in this region of the world and features culturally inspired culinary menus and entertainment.
Spectrum of the Seas offers regionally inspired menus in restaurants such as Hot Pot, Teppanyaki and Sichuan Red. You can enjoy the karaoke lounge, Star Moment. You will find the culturally inspired production Show Girls in the Royal Theater and Silk Road in the one-of-a-kind Two70, a venue where artistry and technology are combined for jaw-dropping entertainment.
Thrill seekers can skydive on the RipCord by iFly, or scale more than 300 feet above the ocean on North Star, an all-glass capsule. SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity space at sea, offers more down to earth fun in bumper cars and other family fun activities.
If you are looking for privacy and a bit of luxury, you can reserve the ship’s Private Suite Enclave. Here guests will find everything from a two-level Ultimate Family Suite that accommodates up to 11 guests and includes an in-suite slide, to a private elevator, dedicated restaurant, and lounge. They can also enjoy a private outdoor space at The Balcony, along with a private shopping experience at The Boutique.
As Royal Caribbean’s fifth-largest ship, Spectrum of the Seas, truly has something for everyone and her return to China is sure to be an experience to remember.
