Seabourn Offering New Northwest Passage Expeditions for 2026

Ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn has announced its 2026 itineraries to the Northwest Passage and Canadian Arctic which offers six distinct voyages between eight and 24 days between August and October 2026.

“The Northwest Passage is one of the most famous and historic routes in the Arctic, and we are excited to give travelers an opportunity to explore this region with Seabourn,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. “Guests will admire towering icebergs, encounter unique wildlife found nowhere else, and immerse themselves in the stories of the daring expeditions that paved the way—all while enjoying Seabourn Venture’s ultra-luxury comforts and services.”

Seabourn Venture will sail two “24-day Journey Across the Northwest Passage” expeditions between Anchorage and Reykjavik departing on August 5 and August 29, 2026. The vessel will also sail one “15-day Wild Labrador Coast: Missions, Fjords & Wilderness” voyage which departs September 20, 2026 from Reykjavik to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Two combination cruises are also available–a “35-day Glaciers, Fjords & Northwest Passage” from Reykjavik to Anchorage and a “38-day Northwest Passage & Wild Labrador Coast” sailing from Anchorage to Halifax.

The immersive voyages will allow guests to explore Devon Island, the world’s largest uninhabited island; connect with the cultures and stories of the people of the Arctic; visit historic sites like outposts of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Hudson’s Bay Company; and tour Ilulissat, Greenland where sled dogs outnumber the population.

Seabourn will offer several excursions including kayaking and submarine dives. Shore experiences include the Ilulissat Helicopter Adventure, a cruise to Assaqutaq or an Icefjord Cruise. Lovers of photography will not want to miss the Image Masters program. The program is a hands-on photography experience led by a nature photographer.

After her Northwest Passage season, Seabourn Venture will sail south to the Caribbean and South America to offer three voyages from eight to 21 days. The “8-day Southern Caribbean Yacht Harbors” voyage sails from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Bridgetown, Barbados. The voyage will feature visits to Saint Lucia and Carambola Beach.

Seabourn Venture will then sail a “16-day Trinidad to Rio: South American Expedition” along the coast of Brazil from Bridgetown to Rio de Janeiro, as well as a “21-day Wild South Atlantic & Antarctic Peninsula” voyage from Rio De Janeiro to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Two combination voyages are also available. Guests can combine a Northwest Passage sailing with a Caribbean or South American voyage: a “24-day Southern Caribbean Yacht Harbors & Coast of Brazil” sailing or a “37-day From the Caribbean to the Antarctic” sailing.
