Royal Caribbean’s third Icon-class ship, Legend of the Seas, is expected to debut in July 2026, but the cruise line is already revealing some of the legendary and iconic places and spaces that will separate it from its sisters. The cruise line shared new details of the entertainment, dining and activities cruisers will find onboard Legend of the Seas across her eight neigborhoods.
“With Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet as we continue to push the boundaries with more of what guests know and love,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean. “Those looking to get the most out of their vacation can have it all with Legend’s combination of adventure-packed experiences and incredible destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.”
Legend of the Seas will feature 28 dining options allowing passengers to satisfy every craving.
Appearing for the first time on an Icon-class ship is the Royal Railway Legend Station. The immersive dining experience takes diners along the ancient Silk Routes by train as it follows the travels of Marco Polo through China, India, Italy and more. Guests can also experience the glitz and glamour of the Hollywoodland Supper Club. The venue is inspired by the golden age of Hollywood and features jazz, a multi-course dinner and gourmet bites and cocktails as guests travel through “a journey of cinema from 1910 to the 1950s.” Legend of the Seas will also feature guests favorites like the AquaDome Market, Surfside Eatery, Chops Grille, Izumi and more.
Legend of the Seas will feature live music venues, more than 20 bars and lounges and new legendary entertainment. Making its debut at sea is Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The hit Broadway musical will bring Willie Wonka to life in the Royal Theater and is included in the cruise fare. In the AquaDome’s AquaTheater, guests will find “deck-defying entertainment” that features high diver, aerialists, robots and dancers. Additionally, Legend of the Seas will be home to Absolute Zero, the largest ice rink at sea, which will feature new skating productions.
Legend of the Seas will include fan favorite largest waterpark at sea, Category 6 with its six waterslides; the skywalk/zip line experience that hangs 154 feet above the ocean, Crown’s Edge; and the Lost Dunes Mini Golf and Adrenaline Peak Rock Climbing. The ship will feature seven pools including the adults-only infinity pool at The Hideaway. There will also be the reimagined carousel concept in Surfside and a redesigned Playscape for the younger cruisers.

She will sail a 13-day repositioning cruise from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale on October 25, 2026.
