Royal Caribbean has revealed details about Perfect Day Mexico which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2027.The cruise line’s headliner in Mexico is expected to break records with its “never-before-seen” attractions.

Now, we’re bringing our demonstrated history of unparalleled service and revolutionary innovation – everything our vacationers know and love – into our collection of destinations that offer more locally inspired perfect days and beachfront getaways,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean. “Perfect Day Mexico is bigger and bolder than anything we have done to date. This destination will be the ultimate vacation for families, and we cannot wait to welcome adventurers from around the world to Mexico for an experience only Royal Caribbean can provide.”
Perfect Day Mexico will cover more than 200 acres on the Caribbean coast. It promises something for everyone across its seven neighborhoods: Loco Waterpark, Splash Cove, El Hideaway, Costa Beach Club, Chill Beach North and South, and Fiesta Plaza.
Loco Waterpark will feature more than 30 waterslides across five slide towers. They will include the tallest waterslides across North and South America, the longest coaster waterslide in the world, the tallest family raft slide and the world’s first sombrero slide. Splash Cove will showcase the longest lazy river in the world, float-up bars and a 100,000 square pool in the middle of it all. Adrenaline seekers will enjoy the “crazy section” with twists, turns, waves, rapids and spins. Also in Splash Cove is Splashaway Bay with waterslides just for the little ones and Splashaway Cabanas.
El Hideaway is an adults-only neighborhood (18 years and older). It features a zero-entry pool with an in-pool DJ and a swim-up bar. The Costa Beach Club boasts of white sand beaches, a heated infinity pool and premium dining. Guests can also rent a private cabana with a personal attendant.
Chill Beach North and South offers almost 2 miles of white sand beaches where they can relax and enjoy the view. Fiesta Plaza is “where all the festivities begin.” Guests will arrive at Fiesta Plaza feeling like they stepped into the “heart of Mexico.” They will also find the world’s largest sombrero on top of the Tipsy Sombrero Bar. All beaches and pools at the destination will offer free loungers, umbrellas and towels.
Guests can choose from 12 authentic (mostly complimentary) dining venues and 24 bars, six of which are swim-up bars. Mexican culture will be represented through Mariachi bands, art, and local vendors. Additionally, Royal Caribbean is working with the local government and community to ensure the destination is not only modern, but sustainable, bringing guests to Mexico from around the world.
Perfect Day Mexico will hosts cruisers sailing Western Caribbean itineraries from Galveston, New Orleans and all Florida homeports. Itineraries including Perfect Day Mexico are able to be book as early as this fall.
