Royal Caribbean Announces 2027-2028 Cruises

Royal Caribbean announced “the ship that revolutionized family vacations” will set sail from Galveston, Texas. For the first time, Icon of the Seas will deliver Texas-sized vacations beginning in August 2027. The big news was part of Royal Caribbean’s 2027 announcement, which included information about vacations from Texas, California, and the Northeast.

Beginning April 2027, cruisers from coast to coast will be able to choose from nine Royal Caribbean ships to explore the Caribbean. The vessels will sail throughout the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, New England, and, of course, the cruise line’s private and beach club destinations.

Icon of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, and Symphony of the Seas will all sail from Galveston, Texas. Icon of the Seas will sail 6- to 8-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages that will visit Perfect Day at CocoCay or Royal Beach Club Cozumel, depending on the sailing. Liberty of the Seas will sail 4- to 8-night voyages to the Caribbean with ports of call in Roatan, Costa Maya, and more. Excitingly, Liberty of the Seas will undergo an “amplification” before she sails in Galveston in April 2027. Lastly, Symphony of the Seas will sail 4- to 8-night Western Caribbean voyages to Nassau, where cruisers can enjoy Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and ports of call in Mexico.

Ovation of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas will both sail from Los Angeles, California, in 2027. Ovation of the Seas will sail short 3- to 4-night sailings to Ensenada, Mexico and Catalina Island, California. Navigator of the Seas will offer 7-night voyages to the Mexican Riviera with ports of call in Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.

Finally, four Royal Caribbean ships will sail Northeast adventures in 2027. Oasis of the Seas, Odyssey of the Seas, and Independence of the Seas will sail from Cape Liberty, while Vision of the Seas will sail from Baltimore.

In May, Oasis of the Seas will offer 7-night voyages to Perfect Day at CocoCay and the Bahamas. In November, Odyssey of the Seas will sail 7- to 12-night voyages to St. Kitts & Nevis, Barbados, St. Lucia, and more. During her 2027 spring and summer season, Independence of the Seas will sail 4- to 9-night voyages to Bermuda, Canada, New England and the Eastern Caribbean. Finally, during the summer season, Vision of the Seas will sail 5- to 8-night voyages to Bimini, the Bahamas, and Bermuda, and during the fall season, she will sail 9-night voyages to Halifax, Saint John, and more.
