Princess Cruises Bringing Country Music to the Caribbean

Princess Cruises and the Academy of Country Music are partnering to bring country music to the Caribbean. Itineraries departing from the Port of Galveston between February 9, 2025 and March 17, 2025 will feature live performances from some of country music’s brightest emerging stars.

The ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge concert series will be showcased aboard the Regal Princess for six Caribbean sailings. Artists will include ACM Award nominee Kameron Marlowe, ACM New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year Tigirlily Gold and America’s Got Talent’s Chapel Hart, and more. The country music acts will perform two 45-minute shows in the Princess Theater, and interact with guests during Meet & Greet sessions.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Academy of Country Music to showcase the incredible talent of these rising stars,” said Becky Thomson Foley, Head of Global Entertainment for Princess Cruises. “Many of our guests are passionate about country music, and this unique experience featuring intimate performances and meet and greet opportunities, promises to make their cruise vacation unforgettable.”

The six cruises in the concert series will sail two different alternating itineraries–an 8-day and a 6-day Western Caribbean with Mexico–from February 9 through March 23, 2025. The 8-day voyages will call on Belize City, Belize; Roatan, Honduras; and Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico and include three sea days. The 6-day voyages will call on Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Roatan, Honduras.

Drew Baldridge, known for his viral hit “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” will kick off the series on the first 8-day voyage embarking on February 9, 2025. Chapel Hart, whose most popular song is “You Can Have Him Jolene,” will perform during the February 17, 2025 voyage. Kentucky-native, Hannah Ellis, will join the February 23, 2025 sailing, and perform from her debut album, That Girl.

Tigirlily Gold, winner of the “New Duo or Group of the Year” at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards will perform during the March 3, 2025 voyage.  The March 9, 2025 itinerary will showcase Curb Records recording artist and songwriter Kelsey Hart. Rounding out the concert series will be Kameron Marlowe who gained national attention on The Voice. That voyage will embark on March 17, 2025.

The ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge pays homage to the historic Red Barrel Niteclub where owner Mickey and Christ Christensen hosted the first So-Cal Country Music Awards Banquet in 1963. This banquet was officially known as the Academy of Country and Western Music Awards Banquet and later became the ACM Awards. Today, the Red Barrel Lounge is located at the ACM’s headquarter in Nashville and provides a unique platform for established and emerging artists.
