MSC Cruises’ MSC Magnifica will sail a 121-night journey to more than 45 destinations across 25 countries during the 2027 World Cruise. However, before she sets sail, the Muscia-class ship will undergo an extensive refurbishment that will include adding the cruise line’s exclusive ship-within-a-ship experience–the MSC Yacht Club.
Antonio Paradiso, vice-president of international sales for MSC Group’s cruise division, said: “We definitely needed Yacht Club on a world cruise because more and more customers were saying they enjoyed Yacht Club on other sailings and that it would be great to enjoy a similar experience on a world cruise.”
The 2027 World Cruise aboard MSC Magnifica will be the first to feature the MSC Yacht Club. The luxury experience includes 24-hour butler and concierge service, its own restaurant, lounge, pool, and sundeck. Guests of the Yacht Club will have the choice of 63 suites across five suite types.
MSC Magnifica’s enhancements will also include two new specialty restaurants–the Butcher’s Cut steakhouse and a Kaito Sushi Bar. Spanning nearly 3,000 feet, guests will enjoy a brand-new MSC Aurea Spa with panoramic sea-view rooms, steam rooms, a salt room, Kneipp path and 10 treatment rooms where guests can experience acupuncture, massages, and more.
Guests who want to keep up their fitness routine during the World Cruise can enjoy an upgraded Technogym facility as well as yoga and spinning studios featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows.
Guests can choose to embark from one of four Mediterranean ports–Civitavecchia, Italy on January 4, Genoa, Italy on January 5, Marseille, France on January 6, or Barcelona, Spain on January 7, 2027.
The bucket-list 2027 MSC World Cruise will sail across 25 countries to visit 45 destinations in Europe, Africa, South America, Oceania and North America. Guests will enjoy sailing Milford Sound, New Zealand, and transiting the Panama Canal. Additionally, the cruise includes overnight stays in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, Argentina; Valparaiso, Chile; Papeete, Tahiti; Hobart and Sydney, Australia.
