MSC Cruises’ latest World-class ship, MSC World Asia, will debut in December 2026, but bookings are open now. She will sail the Mediterranean allowing guests to experience all the region has to offer. Each of MSC Cruises’ three World-class ships are named after one of the world’s continents to emphasize that “MSC Cruises sails to every corner of the globe and offers an unparalleled choice of destinations.”
MSC World Asia will sail 7-night itineraries throughout the Mediterranean for her winter and summer seasons beginning December 11, 2026. She will sail the 2025-2027 winter season to the most popular destinations in the Western Mediterranean–Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France; Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Messina, Italy; and Valletta, Malta. Guests can choose to embark from any of the ports. In summer 2027, she will sail to Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France; Genoa, Naples and Messina, Italy; and Valletta, Malta.
Gianni Onorato, CEO, MSC Cruises said, “We have chosen to deploy our latest flagship in the Western Mediterranean as it is our most popular region. MSC World Asia will further enhance our lineup in the region, giving guests even more choice of embarkation ports and itineraries for their winter escape or summer getaways. As with each of our new ships, we’ll introduce innovative new concepts, venues and services to deliver the ultimate cruise experience for our guests.”
Like her other World-class sisters, MSC World Asia will be powered by liquified natural gas (LNG), have shoreside power connectivity and advanced environmental technology. While her interior design is inspired by Asian culture, art and beautiful landscapes, MSC World Asia will feature many of the spaces offered on MSC World Europa and MSC World America.
She will showcase the same seven districts–Family Aventura, Aqua Deck, Zen Area, Galleria, The Terraces, The Promenade and the MSC Yacht Club. MSC World Asia will also feature the “World-class signature plumb bow rising vertically from the waterline and the iconic Y-shaped aft that opens onto an outdoor promenade.” She will offer more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, seven pools, 13 hot tubs, a full spa, children’s programming and more.
MSC Voyager’s Club members who book by February 13, 2025, will receive 1,000 extra points and a $50 onboard credit per person.
