MSC Cruises Reveals Details of 2027 World Cruise

Bookings are open for the MSC World Cruise 2027 which will set sail aboard MSC Musica.

The 121-night sailing will call on 45 destinations in 25 countries. Passengers will enjoy seven overnight stays, full-day stays in every port, cross the International Date Line twice and have the opportunity to discover sights, sounds, flavors and traditions across the globe. 

Passengers can embark on their journey from one of four European ports—Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa (Italy), Marseille (France) and Barcelona (Spain)–between January 5th and 8th, 2025. The World Cruise will then head westward and cover 37,000 nautical miles across five continents. 

Each booking of the 2027 World Cruise includes 15 shore excursions, a complimentary Dine & Drink beverage package, and a 30% discount on laundry services in the cruise fare. Additionally, members of the MSC Voyager Club will receive a 5% discount on their booking prices, and points gained from the World Cruise will be tripled and credited to their account before the voyage begins giving them instant privileges and extras. 

Ports of call along the Mediterranean include Barcelona, Gibraltar and Casablanca where guests can take a day trip to Marrakech. The vessel will then traverse the Atlantic Ocean with a port of call to Cape Verde before arriving in South America. Here travelers will enjoy calling on Rio De Janeiro in Brazil, Buenos Aires and Puerto Madryn in Argentina, Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands and Ushuaia–the southernmost city in the world.

Continuing through South America, the MSC Musica will call on Puerto Montt, Valparaiso and Hanga Roa in Chile. The vessel will then transit the Pacific Ocean toward the South Pacific where it will call on Easter Island, the Pitcairn Islands, Papeete in Tahiti, Moorea in French Polynesia, as well as Aitutaki and Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Aitutaki is known as one of the most beautiful islands with beautiful turquoise lagoons and coral reefs. 

Next MSC Musica will sail to New Zealand where travelers can explore the Bay of Islands, Auckland, Tauranga, Christchurch, and Dunedin. One highlight in New Zealand is Milford Sound which is often called the eighth wonder of the world. The scenery of the world-renowned natural wonder is so awe-inspiring it has been featured in the movies “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit.” MSC Musica will also call on Sydney, Australia where guests can explore various attractions including the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens. 

Moving on to the Pacific Islands, MSC Musica will call on New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Samoa, and America Samoa before making her way across the Pacific to the United States. Here the vessel will call on Honolulu and Hilo in Hawaii and then sail to Los Angeles, California. MSC Musica will then explore the coastline of Mexico and Costa Rica with ports of call in Cabo San Lucas and San José respectively.

The ship will then transit through the Panama Canal, call on Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, and Philipsburg in St. Maarten before traversing the Atlantic Ocean to make her way to the Canary Islands in Spain. Her final stops will be in Palma De Mallorca, Naples and Rome before disembarkation begins on May 6, 2027.
