MSC Cruises Expanding Its Family Entertainment

This summer MSC Cruises is expanding its award-winning family entertainment with new activities, games shows, dance parties and parades. The experiences are designed to offer something for everyone in the family. The new activities are scheduled to begin June 2025.

Matteo Mancini, MSC Cruises’ Family Entertainment Development Director said, “With MSC Cruises being a family-owned company, we know what it takes to keep the whole family happy on vacation with our multiple-award-winning ‘Doremiland’ kids and family program, tailored entertainment activities and facilities, original game shows, amusement, cinema and waterparks for the youngest of guests through to teens. This summer, we are taking it to the next level, combining technology with engaging activities to create truly memorable experiences. Guests can look forward to more interactive game shows, more sports, more parties, and a fresh take on teen entertainment. No matter where our guests sail, endless fun awaits.”

The LEGO Family Game Show, which has been a success on the cruise line’s new MSC World America, will now be introduced across the fleet. Kids and their parents will compete in a timed challenge to build creative structures with LEGO bricks. The LEGO family parade, featuring seven official LEGO mascots, also will be featured aboard MSC World America, MSC World Europa, MSC Virtuosa, MSC Bellissima, MSC Seashore, MSC Seascape, and MSC Meraviglia.

MSC Cruises is also introducing “Doremix Family Disco” for those families who love to dance. Mascot Doremi will host a family-friendly dance party featuring an exclusive MSC Cruises soundtrack. Not only will Doremi serve as DJ, but the mascot will also serve as dance judge in all competitions.

New game shows Boxes and MSC Boom will make their debut this summer. Boxes will challenge contestants as they open the selected box and MSC Boom will utilize technology as contestants try to win exciting prizes.

The cruise line is expanding its popular Guinness World Records activities to include 16 ships this summer. Cruisers have the opportunity to break various world records while onboard. Additionally, gamers can put their skills to the test in technology-based tournaments.

The Teens Club will offer more sports as well as a Silent Disco, Golden Party and Quiz O’clock. Not to leave the parents out, MSC Cruises is introducing (for parents only) the Golden Party along with the White Party, Glow Party and Sunshine Party. Trivia lovers will enjoy 75 original Trivia Quizzes available fleetwide.

With all these enhancements, MSC Cruises is looking to make this summer the most memorable summer for families who cruise together.
