It is just 18 months until MSC World Asia debuts in the Mediterranean, and MSC is revealing more details about the new flagship. Beginning December 11, 2026, MSC World Asia will offer 7-night itineraries calling on destinations such as Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France; Messina, Citavecchia (Rome), Italy; and Valletta, Malta.
MSC World Asia features subtle touches reflecting the culture, art, and landscapes of Asia. Like her sister ships, MSC World Europa and MSC World America, she showcases seven onboard districts, each with its own feel and experiences, allowing guests to choose their own experience.
MSC World Asia has many highlights, but one of the most striking is its World Promenade. The open-air space is in the heart of the ship with its own unique dining venues and entertainment choices alongside magnificent ocean views.
Other highlights include a yet-to-be-named Pan-Asian Specialty Restaurant where guests can enjoy an elevated dining experience with its own bar and outdoor terrace. Guests can enjoy the longest dry slide at sea–81.3 meters or 266.7 feet. The Spiral Dry Slide allows guests to slide between 12 decks within seconds.
Guests looking to satisfy their sweet tooth will want to stop by Sweet Temptations. The venue offers gelato, cakes, crêpes, frozen yogurt, signature shakes and much more any time of day. Promenade Bites will offer a casual spot to indulge in street-food-style snacks–think fair-style food. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the All-Stars Sports Bar, which offers a game-day atmosphere on the screens, digital shuffleboard, and darts, all while enjoying classic American favorites.
Coffee lovers can stop by the stylish Coffee Emporium for a curated selection of blends and brews from all over the world. Shopping lovers will love the Luxury Accessories Boutique, offering high-end items from international brands.
MSC World Asia will offer more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, which include six specialty restaurants–a blend of guests’ favorites and new concepts. Guests will find the outdoor park, The Harbour, in the Family Aventura District, as well as MSC’s overwater swing, Cliffhanger. In addition to the 20 different types of cabins and suites, MSC Cruises’ exclusive ship-within-a-ship concept, The MSC Yacht Club, will be available.
Guests will find dedicated areas for families and kids, an adults-only Zen pool at the aft of the ship. MSC World Asia will offer seven pools–one has a retractable roof–and 13 whirlpools. Additionally, the ship will feature spectacular entertainment, live music, games and more.
MSC World Asia is MSC Cruises’ third ship in its World Class series. The series, which includes MSC World Europa, MSC World America, MSC World Atlantic (2027), and two more unnamed ships, celebrates the world’s continents and oceans.
