MSC Cruises Adding to its Fleet at Port Canaveral

MSC Cruises has announced it will expand its fleet at Port Canaveral in Orlando when MSC Grandiosa joins MSC Seashore at the Central Florida port in December 2025. MSC Grandiosa will offer Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings while MSC Seashore will offer more short cruises to The Bahamas.

We know people sailing from Central Florida want options, and we’re delighted to offer them two of our most modern and glamorous ships with itineraries that will appeal to everyone from first-time to seasoned cruisers.”

Homeporting in North America for the first time, MSC Grandiosa will sail alternating 7-night Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries. Eastern Caribbean itineraries include calls to Nassau, The Bahamas; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, United States Virgin Islands; and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private island in The Bahamas. Western Caribbean itineraries include calls to Nassau, The Bahamas; Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico; George Town, Cayman Islands; Montego Bay and Falmouth, Jamaica; and Belize City, Belize. MSC Seashore will sail 3- and 4-night cruises to Nassau and the cruise line’s private island in The Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. MSC Seashore will sail 3- and 4-night itineraries with calls at Nassau and Ocean Cay in The Bahamas.

When MSC Cruises’ Meraviglia-plus class ship, MSC Grandiosa, arrives in 2025, she will be the cruise line’s largest ship to homeport at Port Canaveral. The ship’s 2,421 staterooms will accommodate 6,334 passengers who can choose from 10 restaurants including the Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Hola! Tacos & Cantina, Kaito Sushi, and L’Atelier Bistrot. 

Guests can relax in 5 pools and 9 hot tubs, or take advantage of the thrilling Wild Forest Aquapark. Additionally, guests can enjoy an enhanced MSC Yacht Club and expansive MSC Aurea Spa. Entertainment includes a large Broadway-style theater and Carousel Lounge as well as a 323-foot-long Galleria Grandiosa promenade with a stunning LED sky screen.

MSC Cruises operate a 22 ship fleet with three new ships coming in 2025, 2026 and 2027.
