It’s almost Spooky Season and Margaritaville at Sea is offering “Sail the Haunted Seas” cruises in September and October 2025.
Both Margaritaville at Sea Islander and Margaritaville at Sea Paradise will offer a series of cruises during September and October that promise some treats, some tricks, and a little trouble as they sail the Caribbean.
The programming will include Haunted Venue Takeovers as some of the ship’s fan-favorite venues are reimagined into Boo-Phoria, Screams on the Water, Hemis-fear Dancer, Far Side of the Underworld and the Fright Flop Atrium. Guests will enjoy White Hot Neon Nightmares as the ship’s traditional glow party becomes possessed with “eerie beats, creepy cocktails, and glowing face paint.”
Guests will want to sip the spooky Potent Potions while taking part in dueling scream-alongs, Halloween trivia and more during Candy & Chaos. Cruisers will not want to forget their best costume for the Wicked Wins costume contest, and whatever mystery might pop-up during these Haunted Seas Sailings.
Margaritaville at Sea Islander will begin sailing the Haunted Seas on September 7, while Margaritaville at Sea Paradise will begin her frightful voyages on September 8. Margaritaville at Sea Islander homeports from Tampa, Florida and sails 4- and 7-night Mexico and Western Caribbean cruises. Margaritaville at Sea Paradise homeports from West Palm Beach, Florida and offers 2-, 3- and 4-day getaways to the Bahamas and Key West.
Margaritaville at Sea is currently a two-ship fleet which began operations in 2022 when Costa Classica was reimagined into Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. Then in 2024, the cruise line purchased Costa Atlantica which was reimagined into Margaritaville at Sea Islander, and most recently acquired a third Costa Cruises ship, Costa Fortuna, to continue expanding the fleet. That ship is being reimagined into Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, and is expected to debut later this year with more than 15 brand-new experiences.
