Holland America Line announced its new 2027-2028 Asia season, which features three new ports in Japan.

The three new ports are Hitachinaka, where guests can stroll through Seaside Park; Nagoya, which features a reconstructed castle and its rich heritage; and Maizuru, a historic port city that includes a new scenic cruising experience through Maizuru Bay. Guests will enjoy overnight stays in six ports, allowing them the opportunity for a deeper connection with the culture of the destination. Overnight stays include Halong Bay, Vietnam; Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Manila, Philippines; Osaka, Japan; and Shanghai, China.

Fifteen voyages aboard Noordam will sail between September 2027 and April 2028. The itineraries will range from 13 to 15 days and include port stops across Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Noordam is the ideal size, allowing access to unique ports larger ships can not reach, including Jeju, South Korea, and Boracay, Philippines.

Robert De Bruin, director of deployment and itinerary planning for Holland America, said, “Asia offers guests a wealth of natural wonders and remarkable cultural landmarks. We know our guests are eager for deeper exploration, so this season we’ve added new ports, increased calls to lesser-visited destinations, and provided extended stays in popular locales. These enhancements allow guests to make the most of their journey, fully delving into the culture of each destination.”
