Holland America Line has partnered with Sony Electronics for the 2025 Alaska season. Together they are offering guests an “immersive new way to experience Alaska’s awe-inspiring landscapes.”
Sony and Holland America Line are launching the “Alaska Through Your Lens” sweepstakes encouraging guests to photograph Alaska’s landscapes, wildlife, glaciers and other natural wonders. The collaboration brings together adventure, education and technology allowing guests to see the beauty of the Last Frontier from a brand-new perspective. Guests aboard 2025 Alaska cruises can submit their best photos for an opportunity to win amazing prizes.
Submission can be entered at the official Sony Alpha Universe website or by sharing photos on social media with the hashtags #AlphaHALcruise and #Sweepstakes. The grand prize is an exclusive Holland America Line Alaska cruise for two and a Sony Alpha 7R V camera with two advanced G Master II lenses.

Every Holland America Line Alaska cruise features a “Glacier Day” giving guests unparalleled views of the region’s iconic glaciers. Guests can also take part in shore excursions offering glacier hikes, helicopter tours and scenic cruises around glaciers.
Each Holland America Line ship also carries a wildlife expert dedicated to helping guests spot whales, eagles, bears, moose, otters, seals, and more species native to the region. A wildlife spotting guide is also provided to point out the native animals along the cruise route enhancing the journey and promoting an understanding and admiration for Alaska wildlife.
