Holland America Line Opens Bookings for 2027 Grand Voyages

Holland America Line has officially opened bookings for its 2027 Grand World Voyage and 2027 Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage. They both embark in January 2027 and will visit rare ports of call, various overnight and extended calls and elevated onboard experiences.

“We know cruisers who book Grand Voyages are looking for unique experiences — and the strong interest we’ve seen in the pre-sale period shows us our guests are excited about what we’ve designed for them in 2027,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment and revenue planning for Holland America Line. “For example, we built in overnight stays in destinations like Bordeaux — with the city center only accessible via smaller ships like Volendam — as well as multi-night stays in vibrant cities like Cape Town and Buenos Aires.”

Guests sailing the 2027 Grand Word Voyage aboard Volendam will enjoy a 129-day roundtrip sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Embarking on January 5, 2027, the sailing will visit 53 ports in 28 countries across six continents. The voyage will include seven overnight stays in Copenhagen; Bordeaux; Cape Town, South Africa; Bali, Indonesia; Sydney, Australia; Papeete, French Polynesia; and Lima, Peru. Guests can visit any of 81 UNESCO sites including the Taj Mahal, Westminster Abbey and the Great Barrier Reef.

Guests sailing the 2027 Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage aboard Zaandam will enjoy a 70-day roundtrip voyage embarking from Fort Lauderdale on January 3, 2027. Guests will transit the Panama Canal before crossing the equator to South America and scenic cruising through Chile’s fjords and glaciers. The voyage will continue across the Drake Passage before a 4-day scenic Antarctic Experience. The ship will call on 31 ports in 13 countries and two continents. The voyage includes five overnight stays in Panama City, Panama; Lima, Peru; Montevideo; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Rio de Janeiro. Guests will have access to 28 UNESCO sites including Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands.

Guests can also book land tours for a more in depth exploration at a destination. One option for guests on the 2027 Grand World Voyage is a seven-day tour from Phuket, Thailand to India taking visitors to the Taj Mahal before boarding the ship back in Malé. Guests on either voyage can take a four-day Galapagos Islands land tour to enjoy native wildlife and scenery.
