Holland America Line and Lindt in Sweet Partnership

Holland America Line has announced a decadent partnership with Lindt & Sprüngli, the makers of Lindor truffles and the leading premium chocolate brand in the United States. This delicious collaboration promises to make the cruising experience even sweeter for the cruise line’s chocolate loving guests.

Both iconic brands have a rich European history and a passion to create an exceptional experience for its guests. Guests across Holland America Line’s entire fleet will find new chocolate experiences to enjoy.

“Holland America Line’s dedication to extraordinary service mirrors the meticulous craftsmanship behind Lindt chocolate, where the fusion of the finest ingredients creates an unparalleled indulgent experience,” stated Melissa Mendoza, vice president of marketing at Lindt & Sprüngli (USA). “The partnership between Holland America Line and Lindt presents a remarkable chance for the Lindt LINDOR brand to connect with travelers passionate about cuisine and attract a new generation of LINDOR fans with unforgettable brand moments.”

Beginning this summer, Holland America Line’s guests will be treated to the “Sweet Dreams” turndown service on Gala Night. As guests retire to their cabins, they will be greeted by Lindt Lindor milk chocolate truffles or Seas Salt milk chocolate truffles. Guests will appreciate the gesture to Holland America Line’s Dutch roots when they experience a signature tulip-shaped Lindt chocolate mousse cake. The signature cake is already featured on Rotterdam’s Dutch Day, but will be fleetwide by August 2024.

Guests who prefer ice cream will enjoy a Lindt Sundae beginning summer 2024. The sundae is a vanilla ice cream topped with a custom-made Lindt chocolate sauce. Guests will also be treated to Lindt chocolate tulips on the Dutch Day dinner menu in the Dining Room.

In July, just in time for World Chocolate day on July 7, 2024, Holland America Line will unveil its enticing Lindt Flourless Chocolate Cake.  This gluten-free dessert was created in partnership with Lindt’s Master Chocolatier, Ann Czaja, and will be on the Dining Room menu during cruises lasting more than seven days. The cake will also be featured during the cruise line’s “Cake Me Away” program which offers more than 22 five-layer cakes in 16 flavors.

“We’re thrilled to align ourselves with Lindt, a globally beloved brand and one of the world’s leading chocolatiers, to launch an initiative that represents our deep connection to Europe and elevates the culinary experience on board,” said Michael Stendebach, vice president of food, beverage and rooms division for Holland America Line. “We hope our guests take the opportunity to indulge in all the special moments this partnership offers.”

This premium partnership at sea promises a sweet experience for cruisers and chocolate lovers alike.
