Four New Carnival Journeys Sailings Announced

Carnival Cruise Line has revealed four brand-new Asia and Pacific Carnival Journeys sailings on Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Adventure. The two sailings aboard Carnival Luminosa will be offered in 2026 and the two sailings aboard the upcoming Carnival Adventure will be offered in 2027. All four voyages will offer an immersive experience for guests across Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia including seven brand new ports of call.

“These new itineraries represent some of our most enchanting and diverse offerings in the Asia-Pacific region. With our expanded deployment in Australia, we’re able to offer our guests itineraries with more variety along with the Carnival experience they know and love – and this includes the rare experience of sailing with our ships as they mark inaugural visits to several ports and countries across the region,” said Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival Cruise Line.

Carnival Luminosa will sail two unique 14-day cruises. One will sail from Tokyo to Singapore and the other from Singapore to Brisbane.

The first 14-day sailing will embark from Tokyo on October 9, 2026, and feature 5 ports of call before disembarking in Singapore. Carnival Luminosa will be the first Carnival ship to call on Hong Kong; Osaka (Kyoto) and Fukuoka (Hakata) in Japan; Seogwipo (Jeju) in South Korea; and Keelung (Taipei) in Taiwan. The itinerary also includes Phy My (Ho Chi Minh) in Vietnam.

Carnival Luminosa’s second new itinerary is a 14-day sailing from Singapore to Brisbane. The vessel will embark from Singapore on November 30, 2026 and include calls to Bali as well as Darwin, Cairns, and Airlie Beach in Australia before disembarking in Brisbane.

Carnival Adventure will be joining the Carnival fleet from the absorbed P&O Cruises Australia in March of this year and will offer two unique Carnival voyages in 2027.

The first is a 14-day cruise from Sydney to Singapore. Carnival Adventure will embark from Sydney on January 27, 2027 and call on Airlie Beach and Carwin in Australia as well as Bali and Lombok in Indonesia before disembarking in Singapore.

Her second Carnival Journey sailing is a 9-day round-trip Southeast Asia cruise. Carnival Adventure will feature first-ever port stops to Koh Samui and Laem Chabang (Bangkok) in Thailand and Sihanoukville in Cambodia. This itinerary also includes Phy My (Ho Chi Minh) in Vietnam.

A ship’s inaugural visit to a port is always special and usually marked with a welcome ceremony onboard the ship or on the dock. Traditionally, the ship’s captain and local authorities will exchange plaques which are then displayed on the ship documenting her journey.

Guests who wish to sail one of these immersive Carnival Journeys cruises can book their sailing on Carnival Luminosa through Carnival Cruise Line and Carnival Adventure through P&O Cruises Australia until March 2025, when booking becomes available through Carnival Cruise Line.
