Five Carnival Corporation Brands to Broadcast 2026 FIFA World Cup Matches

Five of Carnival Corporation’s brands had secured the rights to broadcast the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches–all 104 of them. Between June 11 and July 19, 2026, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, P&O Cruises and Cunard have announced they will show the matches onboard their ships.

“Soccer is the most popular sport across the globe. The FIFA World Cup is the world’s preeminent soccer tournament, and we realize how important it is for our guests to be able to watch it live on our ships,” said Michael Smith, senior vice president of guest experience and product development. “Guests can confidently book their cruise for next summer knowing that if their national or favorite team advances, they will be able to watch the match from the comfort of their stateroom.”

Holland America Line will broadcast all FIFA World Cup matches on stateroom TVs via Sport 24 Special Event Channels. Select matches will be shown on the Lido’s big screen or the World State theater.

Princess Cruises, which is providing coverage across its entire fleet, will have viewing parties, where guests will be invited to wear their favorite team’s jersey to cheer them on. The matches will also be shown via the Sport 24 Special Event Channels on stateroom TVs, and featured matches on the big screen on the Lido.

Lorna Warren, Princess Cruises Vice President Hotel Operations and Guest Experience said, “The FIFA World Cup is one of the most fan-driven global events, and our guests shouldn’t have to choose between exploring the world and watching the world’s best teams compete. By bringing live coverage to all 17 ships, we’re making sure fans can experience incredible destinations and cheer on every match whether they’re soaking up the sun in the Caribbean, taking in the Mediterranean coast, or sailing past glaciers in Alaska.”

P&O Cruises and Cunard will also have fleetwide coverage allowing their guests to watch at Brodie’s on P&O Cruises and the Golden Lion on Cunard. Catering to the UK market, P&O Cruises will show matches involving England in the SkyDome, and Cunard will show them in The Pavilion.

Kate Garden, Commercial Director, IMG, said, “The FIFA World Cup 26 represents a truly global celebration of sport, and we’re pleased to support Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Cruises, and Cunard in delivering an unforgettable viewing experience for fans on board. From private staterooms to open-air decks, guests will be able to enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of the tournament as we bring the spirit of the stadiums to sea next summer.”

The 2026 FIFA World Cup matches will be held throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
