It’s spooky season and Disney Cruise Line has revealed the Haunted Mansion Parlor that will debut on Disney Treasure when she enters service in December 2024. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is an all-new bar inspired by the iconic attraction found at Disney Parks.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will offer a one-of-a-kind experience inviting “foolish mortals” to enjoy spirit-inspired cocktails in a spooky setting. The experience will take guests into the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion–a jovial captain who becomes a ghost after a disastrous dinner with his fiancé. Composer Shruti Kumar and Walt Disney Imagineering will set the stage for through an original score and illusions that immerse guests into “the mysterious lore of the Haunted Mansion” through Disney’s distinct brand of storytelling.
The setting of the Haunted Mansion Parlor will remind Disney fans of the original Haunted Mansion but with a nautical twist. Nods to the Disney Park attractions include the iconic purple wallpaper framed by wooden finishes, the mantel clock on the fireplace, and the classic purple armchair. Haunted Mansion Parlor will even house its very own ghostly residents.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor bartenders will serve “deliciously chilling drinks” like Sympathetic Libations, blood orange and sour cherry flavors in a zero proof cocktail served in a specialty mug. The Ghoulish Delight will be an ube-flavored drink with ube fudge, oat milk and tapioca pearls garnished with a gummy eyeball and ube glitter. Guests can also order a classic margarita with a spooky twist. The drink will be served with flavored smoke, topped with lemon salt foam and contain a secret message only revealed under black light.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will also offer spooky souvenirs and mysterious merchandise. Items like the Haunted Mansion Parlor Music Box inspired by the eerie music box inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor. Guests can also purchase a replica of the Haunted Parlor Mantel Clock that sits over the fireplace inside the venue. The Haunted Mansion Parlor Sculpted Mug features the same octopus design found at the bar’s entrance and will include a hidden Mickey Mouse-shaped barnacle. Additionally, guests can take home a Haunted Mansion Parlor Mirror where the hitchhiking ghosts mysteriously appear.
Foolish mortals are invited to enjoy the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard Disney Treasure along with all her other iconic spaces and places when she debuts in December 2024 from her homeport at Port Canaveral, Florida to sail Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.
