Crystal Cruises Announces Culinary Themed Voyage

Luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises has announced a themed voyage aboard Crystal Serenity from Venice to Athens from September 8-15, 2026. The voyage will feature three-time Michelin-starred chef Massimiliano Alajmo and his restaurateur brother and partner Raffaele. The 7-night sailing not only showcases the Alajmo dining experience, but also celebrates Crystal’s legacy of culinary excellence.

During the cruise, guests will have the opportunity to meet with the brothers through a Q&A session and a book signing. Guests will also be able to join a guided wine tasting led by wine expert and the next generation of the Alajmo family, Giovanni Alamjo.

Gunter Lorenz, Vice President of Food & Beverage, said, “The evolution of Crystal’s culinary program has always been rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship and meaningful partnerships with the world’s most respected chefs.”

In 2025, the Alajmo brothers and Crystal’s chefs introduced new menus in Osteria d’Ovidio aboard both Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony which further solidified the cruise line’s reputation of Michelin-caliber dining. Included are collaborations with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa who brought the only Nobu restaurant at sea, and restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi who brought Beefbar exclusively to Crystal.

Lorenz continued, “Following the successful refresh of the Osteria d’Ovidio menus, this sailing was a natural next fit — bringing Massimiliano, Raffaele and Giovanni onboard to engage directly with our guests and elevate the experience even further through personal storytelling, wine and cuisine.”

Beginning March 12, 2026, guests will be able to purchase exclusive dinners hosted by the brothers at Osteria d’Ovidio and The Vintage Room offering guests the opportunity to experience the Alajmo philosophy first-hand.

Massimiliano Alajmo stated, “For us, cooking has always been about sharing emotion, culture and a sense of place, We are very much looking forward to meeting Crystal’s guests in person, exchanging ideas, and bringing the spirit of our kitchens to life onboard.”

Rafaelle Alajmo added, “This voyage will allow us to share the Alajmo dining experience in a more personal and meaningful way, and that is something truly special, which we cannot wait to experience.”
Crystal Serenity will depart from Venice, Italy on September 8, 2026 and make stops in Trieste, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Corfu Island, Kefalonia Island, and Monemvasia, Greece, before arriving in Athens on September 15, 2026.
