It’s Cruise Ship Monday!
Today brings us MSC Cruises’ Seaside Class–MSC Seaside (2017), MSC Seaview (2018), MSC Seashore (2021), and MSC Seascape (2022).
MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview are considered the original Seaside-class, while MSC Seashore and MSC Seascape are a larger Seaside EVO version with reimagined public spaces and features. These ships are designed for warm-weather cruising and feature extensive outdoor areas.
Each ship includes traditional main dining rooms and casual options such as the Marketplace Buffet. Signature dining rooms aboard the Seaside-class ships include four or five options like Butcher’s Cut, Ocean Cay, Hola! Tacos & Cantina, Kaito Sushi Bar and Kaito Teppanyaki.
Seaside-class ships include various bars and lounges that feature live music, promenade parties, and more. Guests will find a Champagne Bar, Sports Bar, South Beach Bar and more depending on the ship. MSC Seaside features the Garage Club that serves as a teen club by day and adult cocktail bar by night.
Guests looking for fun will find it on the Seaside-class ships. Each ship features a spa and fitness area. MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview have full-size bowling alleys. Guests will find a full size basketball court, an arcade, F1 simulator and a 4D movie theater.
Each of the ships in this class features a unique outdoor promenade on Deck 8 that features stunning ocean views while strolling, shopping, sunbathing or dining. The ships have a glass skywalk intending to connect the guests with the sea. Seaside-class ships also feature the longest zipline at sea measuring 426 feet.
While the names and theming will vary by ship, they each feature multiple swimming pools which include an indoor pool, an adult-only pool, an infinity pool, and the MSC Yacht Club Pool.
Deck 18 of each ship also features a large outdoor pool as well as the Aquapark. Guests will also find the kids and teens clubs, Doremiland, Doremi Studio, and Hall of Games on this deck. The Seaside-EVO ships also feature a second pool and bar on Deck 18.
Each Seaside-class ship features diverse entertainment in their respective theaters. Everything from Broadway-style shows to comedy shows to rock bands and acrobatic acts. Guests can also take part in daily trivia or test the fates at the casino.
