This Monday, we explored MSC Cruises’ World ClassMSC World Europa (2022); MSC World America (2025); MSC World Asia (coming in 2026); MSC World Atlantic (coming in 2027), and two more unnamed ships planned for 2029 and 2030. Which have you been on?

Royal Caribbean International revealed new details of its third Icon-class ship, Legend of the Seas. When she debuts in July 2026, she will feature 28 dining options, including the Royal Railway Station, live music venues, and more than 20 bars and lounges. Also, making its debut at sea will be Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” musical. It’s gonna be legendary.

Condé Nast Traveler released the results of its Reader’s Choice Awards survey. After hundreds of thousands of votes, Princess Cruises was awarded the top mega ship cruise line, and its Sun Princess was awarded the top mega ship.

Margaritaville at Sea’s newest and largest flagship, Beachcomber, is set to debut from PortMiami in 2027. When she does, she will showcase the world’s largest 5 o’Clock Somewhere at the aft of the ship. The 50-foot-tall poolside venue spans four levels and offers the perfect tropical escape to hang out and enjoy cocktails, food, and live music.

Carnival Cruise Line revealed an exclusive Solar Eclipse Cruise aboard Carnival Miracle, embarking from Dover on July 29, 2027. The cruise line also affirmed that Carnival Paradise and Carnival Elation will continue sailing from their respective Florida homeports through 2028.

MSC Cruises’ MSC Poesia will sail from Alaska for a second season in 2027. The cruise line made the announced before the ship sailed the first time in 2026. Additionally, MSC Poesia will receive one of the largest upgrades in MSC Cruises’ history before she begins her 2026 Alaska summer season.
