Carnival Corporation & plc revealed plans for a new shoreside destination, Ensenada Bay Village. The $26 million project will celebrate the culture, beauty and traditions of Baja California, Mexico. Construction is expected to last about 2 years.

Good news for pickleball and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay enthusiasts! Holland America Line, the first and only cruise line partner of the Professional Pickleball Association, has opened four pickleball courts on its private island in the Bahamas. Check them out next time you are there!

Jamaica is open for cruising! The last of the three main cruise ports, the Port of Falmouth, reopened on December 2, 2025, bringing cruising back full force in the island country. Ocho Rios and Montego Bay both reopened in November after the devastation brought by Hurricane Melissa. 

America’s Cruise Line, Carnival, will celebrate America’s 250th birthday in 2026 as the official cruise line sponsor of the Port of San Diego’s Big Bay Boom–the largest Fourth of July fireworks show on the West Coast. Three Carnival ships, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Firenze and Carnival Luminosa, will be anchored in the Pacific Ocean giving their guests the best seat in the house.

Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas is sailing from Brisbane, Australia for the first time, joining Anthem of the Seas in the land down under. Included in their voyages, both Voyager of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas are debuting six Wiggly-themed voyages that are exclusive to Royal Caribbean.
