Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady debuted in Iceland this week. She embarked from Portsmouth and visited Amsterdam, Norway and Scotland before making the cruise-line’s first-ever calls at three Icelandic ports. While Scarlet Lady was making waves, Brilliant Lady was preparing for her September debut. She finished her final outfitting in Palmero, Spain and is ready for a series of onboard preview events.
Holland America Line is partnering with Caputo, a 100-year-old flour mill in Naples, Italy, to bring the world’s finest Neapolitan-style pizza to its fleet of ships. The immersive training at Keste, the Caputo family restaurant in New York, coupled with the onboard training led by Caputo’s corporate chef, Domenico “Mimmo” Tolomeo will ensure every pizza meets the highest standards of the cruise line and Caputo, offering guests the most exceptional Neapolitan-style pizza at sea.
Celebrity Cruises revealed more than 175 of its 2027-2028 itineraries. The cruise line will deploy ships throughout Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, Japan, and Canada and New England. Itineraries for Europe, Japan, Canada and New England, and Spring Transatlantic sailings are available to book now.
In 2027, Holland America Line is celebrating 80 years of sailing in Alaska. To commemorate the milestone the cruise line will offer more than 100 cruises to the region aboard six ships–Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam. The cruise line is also enhancing its Cruisetour experiences allowing guests to explore the Last Frontier by sea and by land.
Princess Cruises is expanding its presence in Japan for 2027. The cruise line will deploy two Japanese-built, sister-ships, Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess, for the entire season. They will offer 78 departures from the Tokyo region, which includes 50 unique itineraries ranging from seven to 28 days between March and December 2027.
