Holland America Line and Jefferson’s Bourbon announced a first-of-its-kind partnership on International Whiskey Day, March 27, 2026–Jefferson’s Bourbon will be aged at sea across the cruise line’s fleet. This is the distillery’s first partnership with a cruise line featuring its Ocean Aged at Sea Bourbon series.

Royal Caribbean has revealed new features for its fourth Icon Class ship–Hero of the Seas–which is scheduled to arrive at PortMiami in August 2027. Within the ship’s eight neighborhoods, guests will find the most pools at sea, the most dining options at sea, brand-new family raft slides, cooking classes, a three-story Ultimate Family Tree House and more. 

Royal Caribbean Group and Bank of America have announced the upcoming launch of the Royal ONE Visa Signature and Royal ONE Plus Visa Signature credit cards. The new tri-branded cards will be an industry-first and give travelers a simpler way to earn and redeem rewards across the company’s brands–Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea.

Oriental Land Company announced in 2024 that Disney Cruise Line was coming to Japan. Now, the Japan-based entertainment company has established a new subsidiary–Oriental Land Cruise Company–to oversee the Disney Cruise Line operations in Japan as it continues to partner with Disney Cruise Line. 

April is World Autism Acceptance Month, and on April 2, 2026, Carnival Cruise Line announced the Celebration Key, the cruise line’s exclusive destination in Grand Bahama, has become the first cruise destination to earn KultureCity’s sensory inclusion certification.This industry-first certification highlights Carnival’s commitment to individuals with sensory needs.

Holland America Line, which has been perfecting cruising for 153 years, is offering a month-long Anniversary Sale to celebrate. Happening now and through April 30, 2026, the sale features discounts, onboard credits, reduced deposits, and free sailing for children.
