Let’s talk about Cruise Loyalty Programs. These programs would be the equivalent of frequent flyer or hotel reward programs where repeated business equals perks and bonuses.
Cruising is no different. Each cruise line has some kind of loyalty program that offers onboard perks and bonuses–everything from free drinks to free cruises.Today we will cover MSC Cruises’ Voyagers Club.
Earning points on the MSC Voyagers Club is a little more complicated than some other loyalty programs. First, you earn points based on the length of the cruise and on the type of MSC “Experience” you purchase–Bella, Fantastica, Aurea, or Yacht Club. Guests can also earn points for prepaid onboard services, for booking a Voyages Exclusive or World Cruise, as well as for updating their contact information up to 72 hours prior to sailing.
There are six tiers to the MSC Voyagers Club program:

- 10% discount on selection of digital accessories
- 5% discount on internet packages
- 50% discount on the F1 Simulator

Silver–from 2,200 to 4,299 points
- All privileges from the previous tiers +
- $50 onboard credit
- 10% discount on laundry package
- 10% discount on mini bar
- Milestone reward
- Priority line for different dining seating time preference
- Complimentary birthday cake
Gold–from 4,300 to 9,999 points
- All privileges from the previous tiers +
- 15% discount on MSC Logo Shop
- 20% discount on any spa, salon or fitness service
- Special gift
- Complimentary thermal area session

Diamond–from 10,000 to 24,999 points

MSC Cruises does match status across travel brands, including cruise lines, airlines and hotels; however, guests will want to travel with MSC Cruises at least once in a five-year period or they will lose their status and have to start over.
