Guests aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Beyond visited Perfect Day at CocoCay for the first time on Monday, April 22, 2024 and Tuesday, April 23, 2024, respectively. Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean Group’s award-winning private destination in the Caribbean and is now a part of Celebrity Cruises’ new short Caribbean itineraries.
In previous years the island, which is owned by parent company Royal Caribbean Group, has only been open to guests sailing on Royal Caribbean International ships. However, in July 2023, the decision was made to open the island to two ships in the Celebrity Cruises fleet, Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Beyond.
“Guest feedback inspired the new shorter Caribbean itineraries, designed to offer year-round opportunities to unwind with loved ones,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “Introducing Perfect Day at CocoCay presents new experiences for Celebrity guests seeking quick beach getaway escapes close to home.”
Perfect Day at CocoCay offers Celebrity Cruises guests all the same amenities offered to Royal Caribbean International guests. Whether guests are looking for ways to chill or ways to thrill, they will find it on the private island in the Bahamas. The island features beautiful beaches and clear blue waters.
Guests can experience the adults-only beachfront paradise–Hideaway Beach–where they can swim up to the Hideaway Bar and enjoy the live DJ or enjoy pizza from Slice of Paradise or indulge at Hideaway Hut.
At the exclusive Coco Beach Club, guests can chill by the beachfront infinity pool with the first OverWater Cabanas in the Bahamas. Guests can sip their favorite drinks poolside or enjoy upgraded complimentary dining from the Coco Beach Club.
The Oasis Lagoon offers the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. Chill Island offers snorkeling and jet ski tours. Thrill Waterpark offers 14 thrilling slides–including the tallest slide in North America, Daredevils Peak–the biggest wave pool in the Caribbean and obstacles to conquer in Adventure Pool. While on the island, guests can also zip line or take a helium balloon ride.
In between adventures, guests can refuel with a cookout at Chill Grill, enjoy all-you-can-eat favorites at Skipper’s Grill, grab a drink, some chicken wings and a swing seat at Captain Jack’s or have something quick at Snack Shack.
