Celebrity Cruises to Continue Short Caribbean Sailings

Celebrity Cruises, which is part of the Royal Caribbean Group, has announced more short Caribbean sailings for its upcoming 2025-2026 cruise season. These sailings, which appeal to cruisers looking for midweek or extended weekend vacations, were offered by Celebrity Cruises for the first time this summer. The popularity of these shorter cruises has prompted the cruise line to continue the offering for the 2025-2026 season.

The shorter itineraries will be offered by Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Summit and call on destinations like Bimini, Cozumel, Key West, Nassau, and Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

“More than ever before, our guests are seeking opportunities to escape the everyday to bond with friends and family,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “We love that we can offer vacation options designed to provide guests an elevated experience that’s close to home while still exceeding their expectations of what a vacation can be.”

Celebrity Reflection will offer year-round cruises departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. She will sail over 100 three- or four-night voyages to The Bahamas with each sailing making a call at Perfect Day at CocoCay. The Solstice-class ship entered service in 2012, has a capacity of 3,030 guests, and offers features such as the Retreat, the Lawn Club Grill and more.

Celebrity Summit will also sail from Port Everglades and offer four- and five-night voyages that will call on destinations like Nassau, Bimini, Key West and Cozumel. This Millennium-class ship entered service in 2001, but was modernized in 2019 with redesigned staterooms, restaurants and bars, spa, casino as well as an exclusive sundeck, and more.

Royal Caribbean Group has been offering these shorter cruises from its Florida homeports in recent years with increasing popularity. The offering aboard a Celebrity Cruises vessel provides a more upscale experience for which some cruisers are looking.

Celebrity Cruises 2025-2026 Caribbean season is also promising longer vacations of seven- to 10-nights aboard Celebrity Beyond.
