Carnival Venezia Moving to PortMiami for 2027-28 Summer Season

2027-28 reservations are now open for three Carnival Cruise Line ships from Miami and Port Canaveral in Florida. The cruise line announced the move from New York to Miami for Carnival Venezia as well as more options for Carnival Magic from Miami and Carnival Vista from Port Canaveral.

The “Fun Italian Style” Carnival Venezia has sailed her summer season from New York since joining the fleet in 2023. That changes for the 2027-28 season as she begins sailing 6- and 8-day Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean itineraries from PortMiami.

Carnival Venezia moving to Miami creates even more choice for our guests with longer itineraries to the most popular Caribbean destinations and adds a new flavor of fun with our ‘Italian Style’ experiences,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “With Carnival Magic and Carnival Vista continuing to build on their strong popularity, the wide variety of sailings we’re opening today speaks to our commitment to guests who want convenient getaways from Florida.”

Carnival Venezia’s 6-day Western Caribbean voyages will feature ports of call to Celebration Key as well as destinations such as Ocho Rios or Montego Bay in Jamaica and George Town in Grand Cayman, while her 8-day Southern Caribbean voyages will call on Amber Cove as well as Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

The 4,000-passenger Carnival Venezia was the first ship to feature “Fun Italian Style” for the Carnival fleet. She maintained her Italy-inspired design based on the city of Venice when she joined the fleet in 2023, but she also features classic Carnival experiences for her guests to enjoy.

The 3,690-passenger Carnival Magic will continue to sail a variety of 6- and 8-day itineraries across the Caribbean from PortMiami. Her various itineraries will call on the cruise line’s exclusive destinations, Celebration Key, Amber Cover and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay as well as Grand Turk, the US Virgin Islands, San Juan, and the ABC islands.

The nearly 4,000-passenger Carnival Vista will offer expanded options to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Her year-round deployment from Port Canaveral features the cruise line’s exclusive destinations of Celebration Key, Isla Tropicale and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay as well as Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.
