Carnival Pride Sailing With Revised Itinerary

Carnival Cruise Line canceled an upcoming cruise aboard Carnival Pride due to a technical issue, but there is good news surrounding that today.

The canceled cruise was to depart in the roundtrip sailing from Dover, England today, July 21, 2023. It was a nine-night voyage visiting the British Isles and Ireland.

The Carnival Pride made an unplanned stop in Kiel, Germany to board expert technicians and the sailing was subsequently canceled.

Passengers were offered very generous compensations for the canceled cruise.

Guests who had not yet traveled to Europe would receive a full refund along with 100 percent Future Cruise Credit (FCC) and airline cancellation fees.

Guests already in Europe would also receive a refund of two nights of hotel accommodation (up to $300 per night) and food per diem of US$100 per day, per person, beginning on Friday. Carnival also covered airline fees for guests returning home immediately.

Carnival did state it was possible for operate a revised itinerary with a shorter cruise and offered a prorated refund and a not-yet-determined amount of onboard credit.

This morning Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador, John Heald, shared this statement via social media:

“Good morning everyone. It’s 7:00am here and I wanted to start the day with sharing this brilliant offer for the guests who were canceled from the original Carnival Pride that was supposed to leave today. Take a look.
