When you board a Carnival Cruise Line ship, you know there will be a party. Actually, the cruise line has several themed parties on every ship. Everything from White Night Parties to Silent Disco Parties to Mega Deck Parties to Decades Parties are so popular that guests will specifically pack clothing and items to coordinate with the theme of the party. And while this isn’t required to attend the themed party, it can be part of the fun for some guests.
Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador John Heald released the updated list of onboard themed parties for almost every Carnival cruise ship. Heald said, “Take a look at what our brilliant stable of Cruise Directors and their Fun Squads will be hosting for you when you cruise.”
The themed parties are as follows:
- Held in the Atrium aboard Carnival Breeze will be Rock the Promenade, Motown Showdown and Decades Atrium Party. On the Lido, guests will find a White Night Silent Party and an 80’s Rock-N-Glow
- Onboard Carnival Celebration guests will enjoy an 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party and a White Hot Party on the Lido, as well as a Motown Party and Evolution Party at Center Stage.
- 3- and 4-day sailings aboard Carnival Conquest will host an 80’s and 90’s Party, while 4-day sailings only will host a Motown Party in the Atrium. Both cruises will host a Mega Deck Party on the Lido.
- Carnival Dream will host three themed parties in the Atrium–Rock the Promenade, Motown Party and 80’s Party–and two themed parties on the Lido–80’s Rock-N-Glow and Silent Night White Party.
- Aboard Carnival Elation guests will find a Rock the Promenade, a Motown Trivia Party, and an 80’s Party in the Atrium and a Mega Deck Party on the Lido.
- In the Atrium of Carnival Freedom guests can attend a Rock the Promenade, a Motown Party or a Decade Party as well as a 80’s Rock-N-Glow on the Lido.
- Cruising on Carnival Horizon? Be prepared for a Motown Party, a White Night and a Farewell Music Party in the Atrium or an 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party and Silent Disco Party on the Lido.
- The cruise line’s newest ship, Carnival Jubilee, will host the exclusive Texas-sized Tailgate Party, as well as an 80’s Party and Motown Party on the Lido. Heald will be releasing themed parties for Jubilee’s Center Stage soon.
- Carnival Legend’s themed parties are a Motown Party and 90’s Party in the Atrium, a Mega Deck Party, an 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party, and a Silent Party on the Lido.
- Carnival Luminosa’s Lido will host a Silent White Night Party, an 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party, an Island Nights party on cruises that are 7 days or more, and a Backyard Bash on cruises that are 8 days or more. At the Ocean Plaza, guests can attend a Motown and 70’s Party, a Decades Music Party or a Superhero Party.
- In the Atrium of Carnival Magic guests will find a Rock the Promenade, a Motown Party, and a Farewell Music Party. On the Lido there will be a 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party and a Megadeck Party. Guests cruising on an 8-day cruise will also be treated to a Serenity Nights Party on the Serenity Deck.
- Carnival Miracle will sail two Journeys cruises this month and her Atrium parties/events are Ballroom Dancers, Hula Class, Dance Class with the cast, Walk the Plank, Hawaiian Appreciation Event and a Farewell Music Party. The Lido Deck has a Sailaway Party, Ice Carving, a Luau Deck Party, a Silent White Night Party, an 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party, and a Mega Deck Party.
- Mardi Gras cruisers can enjoy a 90’s Party on Center Stage and a White Hot Party, a Tiki Party, and a Rock-N-Glow Party on the Lido.
- When boarding Carnival Paradise guests will find an 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party on the Lido, or a Rock the Promenade, a Motown Party or a Fun Farewell Party in the Atrium.
- Carnival Panorama will offer a Motown Party, a White Party, and a Farewell Party in the Atrium as well as an 80’s Rock-N-Glow, a Silent Night Disco, and a Mega Deck Party on the Lido.
- Carnival Pride will host a Silent Night Disco and an Electric White Night in the Nightclub, a 70’s & Motown Atrium Party, and a 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party and Mega Deck Party on the Lido
- Sailing Carnival Radiance will offer a Rock the Promenade, Motown Showdown and White Party in the Atrium as well as a Mega Deck Party and 80’s Rock-N-Glow on the Lido.
- In the Atrium of Carnival Spirit guests can experience a 70’s & Motown Party as well as a Fun Farewell. On the Lido, guests can enjoy a Mega Deck Party, a 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party, and a Silent White Party.
- Themed parties aboard Carnival Splendor will depend on length of cruise. A 90’s Party will take place in the Atrium on all cruises, while a Superhero Party will take place in the Atrium on 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-day or more cruises. There will be a White Hot Party on the Lido on all 6-, 7-, and 8-day or more cruises, an Island Party and a Backyard Bash on the Lido during 8-day or more cruises.
- Carnival Sunrise will host a Rock the Promenade and 90’s Party in the Atrium and a White Hot Party and 80’s Rock-N-Glow on the Lido.
- On Carnival Sunshine guests can Rock the Promenade, enjoy the Motown Showdown or attend a 90’s Party in the Atrium as well as attend the Mega Deck Party on the Lido.
- The 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party is on the Lido of Carnival Valor, while a Motown Party and a 90’s Trivia Party can be found in the Atrium.
- Carnival Venezia will offer a Festa Italiana Party on the Lido along with a 80’s Rock-N-Glow Party, a 90’s Party, and a Silent Night Party. In the Atrium there will be a Motown Party and a White Party.
- Last is Carnival Vista throwing a Rock-N-Glow Party and a Mega Deck Party on the Lido along with a Motown Party and White Hot Party in the Atrium.
The dates, times and locations for these themed parties can be found in the Carnival Hub App once you are on your cruise. They are only offered once per sailing and they can vary based on the cruise director, length of the cruise and other factors.
