When the Carnival Celebration debuts from Miami in November, something new and special will be onboard.
Next month, the Carnival Celebration will begin sailing out of Miami, Florida and cruisers will be able to enjoy the “all-new Oktoberfest-inspired seasonal beer” crafted by Michael Deichstetter, Brew Master.
Deichstetter has finished the first batch right on board. It is made of a type of beer known as a Festbier, a popular beer during Oktoberfest.
The beer is described as a modern take on a traditional German lager with a taste of melon and strawberry. Deichstetter and his team are planning more unique options for guests of Carnival Celebration along with the beers already found on other ships in the fleet.
The brewery on Carnival Celebration makes five onboard breweries for the cruise line. Breweries can also be found on Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Panorama, and Mardi Gras.
The Pig Anchor, and its brewery, can be found on deck 8 aft of Carnival Celebration.
Once the Excel class Carnival Celebration completes its maiden voyage transatlantic crossing, it will debut on November 21 out of the upgraded Terminal F at PortMiami, Florida. It will make seven and eight-day voyages to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
Along with specialty beers, guests will have never-before-seen entertainment shows, the BOLT rollercoaster, and six different themed zones to enjoy.
There will also be a naming ceremony on November 20 with godmother Cassidy Gifford, daughter of Kathy Gifford.
How about you? Have you enjoyed any specialty crafted beers on a Carnival ship? Are you sailing on the Celebration?
