Carnival Cruise Line is rolling out a new Express Dining option in its Main Dining Rooms. Express Dining, a more convenient dining option, offers the same multi-course meal in under an hour, giving guests more time to enjoy shows, live music, the spa, the pool and more.
“Our guests continue to tell us they value greater flexibility in how they spend their time on board, and Express Dining was designed with that in mind,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Our pilot program generated positive feedback from our guests. With this in mind, we are excited to expand Express Dining to offer them the same high quality dishes and attentive service our dining rooms are known for, while giving guests the ability to use more of their time to enjoy all the other onboard fun.”
Express Dining, which is intended for groups of six or less, is currently available aboard 15 Carnival ships–Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Celebration, Mardi Gras, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Firenze, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Vista, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, Carnival Glory and Carnival Freedom–and is expected to be available fleetwide by the end of May. Express Dining gives Carnival guests the ability to choose the traditional leisurely evening meal or a quicker service time with the same, slightly abbreviated, menu.
This new experience further enhances Carnival’s decision to offer flexible dining fleetwide. The cruise line recently began offering Family Express service on the Lido Deck. It debuted very successfully on Carnival Vista, and was quickly expanded across the fleet.
Guests who choose Express Dining can make their server aware. Those guests booked under Your Time Dining, can opt into the experience via the Hub App. All special dietary requests can still be accommodated.
