Carnival Cruise Line Mixes Up New Non-Alcoholic Cocktails

Carnival Cruise Line has entered into a partnership with Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Spirits to bring delicious alternatives for its most popular cocktails.

Guests favorite drinks from the mixologists at the Alchemy Bar are now available with non-alcoholic spirits. The industry-leading distiller, Lyre’s, is making Carnival the first cruise line to offer a full lineup of non-alcoholic cocktails.

“Our new partnership with Lyre’s gives guests who want non-alcoholic cocktails the best options at sea. We’ve seen popularity for non-alcoholic cocktails grow rapidly, so to meet that trend, our mixologists have been working to craft alternative versions of our most popular cocktails with none of the alcohol, but all the flavor,” said Zachary Sulkes, Carnival’s senior director of beverage operations.

As the world’s most awarded line of non-alcoholic spirits and a global leader in this arena, Lyre’s is the perfect company to partner with Carnival. The company uses all-natural flavors to recreate the aroma, taste and appearance of classic drinks.

There are seven popular Alchemy Bar cocktails that are being recreated by Lyre’s:

Martini Seduction contains red passion fruit nectar, fresh lime juice and a hint of orange mixed with Lyre’s White Cane instead of vodka to make this seductive drink.

Lyre’s Agave Blanco is used in place of vodka to bring the Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Martini into its non-alcoholic form.

In the Remedy, orange juice, pineapple and fresh lime juice are mixed with Lyre’s White Cane and Spiced Cane instead of dark and coconut rum.

The award-winning Hearts of Fire features fresh thyme and raspberries and is mixed with Lyre’s Dry London instead of gin.

Lyre’s Dry London is mixed once again with fresh basil and citrus to create the Restorative Basil Drop.

The Perfect Storm is an invigorating drink featuring strawberry puree, fresh lime, a hint of rosemary and Lyre’s Dry London instead of vodka.

Watermelon nectar, cucumber, lime juice and a splash of orange juice are mixed with Lyre’s Agave Blanco instead of vodka to create the Cucumber Sunrise. This non-alcoholic alternative promises the same light and delicious flavor and is sure to remain an award-winning favorite among Carnival guests.

Alchemy Bar is featured on almost every Carnival ship out of the United States. The new non-alcoholic drinks will arrive on ships homeported in Australia at a later date. Not only will the Alchemy Bar be offering this full range of non-alcoholic cocktails, but the main dining room will also serve Lyre’s alcohol-free Prosecco among its other wines across the fleet.
