MSC Cruises Unveils AI-Powered MSC Concierge

This week, MSC Cruises unveiled its all new AI assistant–MSC Concierge. The complimentary virtual assistant is built into the MSC for Me app and is designed to help guests manage their cruise experience offering a 24-hour chat feature allowing guests to access onboard services and ask questions in more than 90 languages.

Developed to complement not replace onboard crew, MSC Concierge has the ability to make dinner reservations, book spa treatments and shore excursions, check account balances, browse entertainment options and answer general questions. The powerful tool was piloted by more than 170,000 guests with a 93% service satisfaction score after exchanging more than a million messages.

The AI-driven digital service is fully integrated into the cruise line’s MSC for Me app on any personal device, and is accessible through the ship’s internal WiFi, meaning no paid internet package is required. Additionally, the system is directly connected to each guest’s account giving it the ability to tailor responses to specific details like purchased drink packages, cabin types and other services. 

MSC Concierge is currently available onMSC World Europa, MSC Fantasia, MSC Euribia, MSC World America, MSC Virtuosa, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Orchestra, MSC Seaside, MSC Poesia, MSC Musica, MSC Lirica, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Armonia, MSC Divina, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Bellissima and MSC Splendida and is expected to go live on the entire fleet by the end of the month.
