MSC Cruises is revealing details around its newest flagship, MSC World Asia–specifically around The Harbour and Aqua Deck.
The Harbour will be revamped to reflect the theme of MSC World Asia and serve as an outdoor space for families. Guests can experience Cliffhanger, a one-of-a-kind swing ride that extends over the ocean; the Adventure Trail Ropes Course, a two-level course that covers 6,210 square feet and includes two zipline-like Sky Rails; The Harbour Aquapark with its 90-degree vertical drop slide, a raft slide, dueling body slides, and a splash area for young children; and The Harbour Bar & Bites featuring complimentary grab-and-go food and drinks.
The Harbour will also include a new Play Deck space. The area is designed for connection and interaction for families and for kids of all ages. Also connected to the outdoor venues is the longest slide at sea! The Tree of Life @ The Spiral, an 11-deck spiral dry slide, will take guests from The Harbour to the World Promenade in seconds.
MSC World Asia will introduce two new pool concepts on the Aqua Deck–the outdoor Manila Bay pool and the indoor Coral Cove pool. The Manila Bay pool and Pearl Lagoon Bar is the ship’s primary pool area. The space will host activities and offer entertainment from sunrise to sunset. The pool area will feature more shade, seating and refreshing amenities.
The Coral Cove pool will be a more elegant, sophisticated, multi-generational space inspired by the beauty of the ocean. The space will feature a retractable glass roof and a poolside bar. Artist Elisabetta Milan has designed an art installation for the pool area in the shape of a water droplet to “evoke lightness and fluidity.” In all, the ship will feature seven pools and 13 hot tubs onboard.
MSC World Asia will begin sailing seven-night Mediterranean itineraries starting December 4, 2026 to some of the region’s most sought after destinations. She will be the first ship in Europe to feature The Harbour.
